A cheap place to stay

The hotel is part of a bar, but we were lucky as we stayed during the new year so it was largely quiet. The hotel is in a corner site with a thoroughfare car park at the back. I got disturbed a few times at night as people came by and yelled in the car park. The hotel is poorly maintained with broken glass, moulded curtains and rundown bathroom.

The room was very tired looking and in need of a good painting. It was very noisy with being near a busy junction. There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room or any cups or cutlery. The bathroom only had a blind over of one the windows which may you feel very exposed when getting ready for a shower. The shower head fell off when I was in the shower and there was no plug in the sink. The small kitchen was unclean and very untidy and I was only able to find one cup which I needed to wash.

Close to fast food venues.

Noise from traffic, neighbours and everyone else in the building. No a/c so fan had to suffice. Only one power point in room which the fan was plugged into. Couldn't open the windows for cooling due to all the traffic noise outside.
