The place was very quiet so had a peaceful sleep and woke up well rested. The staff was very friendly, place was good overall

The internet signal was not reaching my room. Cld only get one bar which didn't work well for me. But since i needed rest it wasnt much of a convenience

The rooms were old style, but clean and the beds comfortable and the bedding clean. Nice fireplace in the lounge/bar area. Food in restaurant was good. Beautifull breakfast and friendly staff.

No aircom in the rooms. Rooms were very cold Heated underblanket on the bed though. Bathroom was open towards the bedroom, no door for privacy when you go to toilet unfortunately.

Not all rooms have inside security locking devices

Small town country hotel with lots of charm. The Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home - special mention to "Poppie" who checked us in at reception. The hotel is famed for its delicious lunchtime spread - please plan ahead and book this in advance1! Unfortunately, our schedule did not make it possible to sample this on the first day and they were fully booked for Mother's Day lunch. However, our dinner and breakfast were delicious. Very comfy bed and the electric blanket kept away the chilly winter cold. We stayed 2 nights.
