Splendour Residence

Nous avons passé une nuit de rêve pour clôturer notre voyage au Sri Lanka, l'hébergement a complètement dépassé nos attentes ! Les hôtes étaient très disponibles, attentionnés et aux petits soins pour nous, nous avons été très émus par leur grande gentillesse ! Le cadre est idyllique, la chambre très spacieuse et luxueuse et la nourriture délicieuse... Meilleur Rice and Curry que nous avons mangé au Sri Lanka. Très disponibles, ils ont su nous organiser un Safari sur le lac en dernière minute avec un très bon guide et à un tarif intéressant. Nous recommandons+++++

Nothing much to dislike.

1. Hospitality by Niroshan and his wife was top class. They have 2 team members who are super efficient and will fix everything immediately. 2. The food was fantastic. especially the srilankan food. 3. I developed knee pain, Niroshan himself came and gave me a balm. Realised later that he never charged me. 4. Each room has a large balcony facing the beautiful lake. It's a treat. 5. The rooms are very well maintained. including the bathroom. Which is very clean. 6. Massage was arranged, with complementary coconut water. It was very good made me and wife more relaxed. 7. Surrounded with greenery everywhere. With a lot of birds and living insects ... which is nature at its best around you.

Can't say anything as what we did not like. Be prepared for nature around you with ants, spiders, etc. Please ask for assistance. The team will take care if you come from a place not used to seeing all this. Nature is not disturbed around you with a lot of greenery. I enjoyed it!

Everything was perfect! The host with his family and staff was so kind to us and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We only stayed for 2 nights but would have liked to stay a little longer. The swimming pool was clean and a nice temperature, the food was delicious and made with love. The view on the lake was so beautiful. This was the best room we got during our 28 days stay in Sri Lanka. It was very clean, the shower was good and it was nicely designed. Extra compliments for the owner, the family and the staff! They were smiling all the time. We can't thank them enough for our experience

Every element of the experience at Splendour was exceptional from the classy modern design, the contemporary nature-themed artwork to the stunning setting with beautiful views of the lake. The owners are very special people who dedicate themselves to making your stay the best it can be. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The food of all cuisines was of a high quality particularly the Sri Lankan food. All of the local activities were organised for us. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serenity. But the real treat here is the hospitality extended by the owners and staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble and our needs were often anticipated. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here with memories that will last a lifetime. A unique experience of Sri Lanka that should not to be missed. 11/10!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy, everything was clean and comfortable — truly a place where you can relax and enjoy every moment. What made our experience especially memorable were the amazing hosts. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and personally organized fascinating excursions that added a special charm to our trip. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our stay perfect, and thanks to his efforts, we felt completely at ease and well taken care of throughout the whole vacation. We would love to come back again and will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and family!

We arrived here in the night and in the middle of the only storm we experienced in our fortnight in Sri Lanka. This is a very special family run place in the most formidable grand design style building with stunning architecture. Waking up to Sri Lanka with this view was an unforgettable experience. The room was vast. The warmth of the family was palpable. We were coming from a business trip so I left a suitcase here for two weeks. They checked in with me regularly and I knew my things were totally safe. Thank you for such a special introduction to a very special trip :)
