Good clean room good llocation

Sustainable practices, cooperatively owned, good follow up with us on check in, spotlessly clean, decor was nicely done, location was stellar! There are a lot of stairs, so specify a lower floor if you need that.

Bed a tiny bit too firm for me and pillows a bit too flat, but that is just a preference.

The photos of the property didn’t reflect what was there. They were misleading. There wasn’t even a wardrobe or anywhere to put anything. But the worst part about it was the noise, the pub next door playing really loud music until midnight, and no way of blocking out the sound! We considered leaving during the night it was so bad. For a family room, the windows either need glazing or need to be located in a place within the ‘hotel’ that’s not directly facing the pub.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely area

Goede uitvalsbasis voor onze wandeltocht over de Welsh Camino. Ontbreken van ontbijt bleek leuke kans om in het stadje steeds ergens anders te ontbijten. Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Dichtbij busstation. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Geautomatiseerd in- en uitcheckproces.

Bij binnenkomst voelde het bij mij een beetje onpersoonlijk en claustrofobisch (maar dat wende wel). Eerste avond werd het pas om 2.00 ‘s nachts rustig door harde muziek in een pub vlak achter onze kamer.

The host at the hotel was very welcoming she greeted us kindly and showed us the rooms along with the kitchen at the bottom floor. The room was spacious and clean and it was in the middle of the town centre which was a bonus. There are various cafes and supermarkets all around. The castle was a few steps away and looked very beautiful in the night all light up. There's a beautiful sea and dock area with boats on the side of the castle with wonderful views of the sunset.. The hotel has space to load and unload your bags and parking few steps away.

The room i stayed in the bed was slightly uncomfortable so the nights were a bit difficult to sleep. There a plenty of sea gulls screeching in the mornings but hotel did supply earplugs which really helped. There are lots of pubs on the street where it did get very loud at night.
