We booked as we liked the spa facilities with the hotel

At check in I was advised there had been a problem with my card & payment was required, which was incorrect .The bedroom was tired and had marks on carpet etc as did hall carpet leading to bedroom. The door did not seal well and let in lots of light at night as well as noise ! The Sports Bar was so cold to sit in( I reported this at check out ) & the service wasn’t as good as I’d have expected . The food was lovely ! Our visit to the spa in the morning was pleasant but disappointing . Spa members were having their morning swim and did not appreciate guests taking up room in the pool so much so I overheard 2 ladies passing the comment ,” thank goodness “ as I got out the water ( suggest allocated early morning members only time) The steam room also wasn’t working. The waitress that served us at breakfast was lovely as was the food.
