BEAfter the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi, we toured Kakheti. Just outside Telavi we stumbled upon Chateau White Flags, an oasis of tranquility with a beautiful view of the Caucasus. The welcome was warm. The hostess conjures up delicious dishes on the table. The wine, made by the host, was exceptionally tasty. With an eye for tradition, but with an open mind for the melting pot of cultures that come together here. After a delicious dinner, we immediately booked an extra night. Enjoyed an extra day of reading by the pool and an additional culinary evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended in an excellent location!

Nothing at all
EEIt’s a perfect place, if you want to feel like home, but also enjoy the privacy of a hotel. The owners make sure you have everything you need (including delicious meals) and help you arrange trips, but they leave you as much privacy as you like. The location is great to visit nearby wineries and beautiful town Telavi. It’s wonderful to swim in the pool after a long day exploring Kakheti region. The architecture is very unique and makes you travel in time, although it’s a farely new estate. Thank you for having us!

The room could have included some drawers to put some of your clothes. Water pressure for the shower was very weak.
ILThe architecture of the place is just incredible. The owner, Georgi, and his mom Maria are the most pleasant people. Georgi is also a chef with lots of experience in the Belgian and Georgian cusine. We ate the best meal with natural ingredients and home made food. We had the best romantic time there, with the unmatchable view to the mountains. Hopefully we'll come back for more!
NLthe owner makes you feel so welcome. It is like visiting a very good old friend. And this is the way you leave the hotel as well. The food is perfect. Honest food made from local ingredients and real warm home cooking.
