Hotel El Jardin

I loved everything. Easy access heart of this tiny town/village , yet still peaceful and quiet. My room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The pools are lovely, well maintained and plenty of sunbeds and chairs. The gardens are beautiful with lovely flowering bushes and fabulous backdrop of trees. The owner and staff are just wonderful and so helpful. They do not offer breakfast but still kindly provide coffee and bananas and biscuits in reception in the morning. Fridge in the room, quiet AC and great pressure shower.

Perfectly located next to town and the beach, both just a few minutes walking distance. The room is very clean and comfortable. The garden with pool is amazing and a great place to relax after exploring the area. I would especially recommend the rooms on the pool side because you don't hear the road there. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We could leave our bags here when we went for an atv trip and came back the next day. They don't serve breakfast but do offer coffee, cookies and fruit in the morning and restaurants are really close by. Will definitely come back here!

Excelente atención, agradable

The facilities were very nice and the staff quite friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable in general.

The room was relatively small for the amount of money asked. The hotel only had two hair dryers so we had to ask the reception every time. The bathroom was a bit small

We had a room in a bungalow- toward the back of the property-so it was quiet (except for the sound of monkeys and birds and a nearby rooster in the morning-which we LOVED hearing). The room included a lovely shaded deck with chairs and a hammock. We spent many hours there, reading and enjoying the sounds and views around us (we could see the ocean). The grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of trees and flowers (attracting lots of birds). The air conditioning worked well. The bungalow had inside walls of stone and a high ceiling with beams of wood- beautiful! Everything was very clean and the coffee in the morning was fantastic-Thank you Mercedes!!! The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful-answering questions, recommending tours and restaurants and arranging taxis. Thank you Juan Luis!!!! Tip-If you need one-take along your own travel hairdryer-but if you forget-not an issue-they have a few available to borrow from reception.

There were many steps to our room ( not an issue -as long as a person is reasonably fit). The lighting at night was not sufficient to properly illuminate the steps of different heights. Take along a flashlight (or use your phone) to help with this.

Some water pressure problems but the manager contacted us to Resolve the issue.
