Hotel Florentina

Hotelul a fost dezgustător începând de la miros urit și terminind cu personalul hotelului Ne-am cazat seara la ora 22 eram obosiți și aveam nevoie de odihnă ,diminiata ora 8 doamnele ce făceau curat în alte camere vorbeau foarte tare trezindu-ne din somn Diminiata la mic dejun practic nici nu am avut ce alege era salam cu miros și niște omletă te uitai și îți era rău nu încă să maninci din ia ,pot spune cu mina pe inimă cel mai oribil hotel întîlnit vodata

Nimic.

Gălăgia, nu ai geam rabatabil, curent pe sub uși, porumbei.

there's AC in the room. the location is close to the train station.

- the lobby smells like cigarette all day long. from the moment I stepped in to the minute I got out of the hotel door, there was always some smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the air. - the hotel has a very lax no smoking policy that it borders on non-existent. but the hotel advertises it as a non-smoking hotel - so, deceptive advertising? - the room smelled like a hospital ward that used 3X the amount of bleach and chloride than necessary. I had to open two windows and ventilate for a couple of hours before the smell return to somewhat normal. - the good thing: there's AC in the room. the bad thing: the AC's vent is pointed directly at the pillows' position on the bed, so cold wind blows straight into your head if you lie down and try to sleep. the only way to not have cold wind cut into your face is to either turn off the AC completely, or sleep with your head to the toilet. - about the toilet, the shower doesn't drain or drains very, very slowly. You can turn on the shower head for 20 seconds max, and then must turn off the shower to wait for the water to drain in another 3 minutes. otherwise the water just gathers up very quickly in the stall and spills outside. - the lamp on the desk is broken and hasn't been touched for a while, with greasy, finger-deep layer of dust gathering on the bulb and the seat. - there are dubious looking things that seem like age-old lime scales in the kettle boiler. - reception staff don't understand or speak english well enough to carry basic communications with guests. they are also not well trained enough to give guests consistent or correct information about the hotel's offer. most of them were trying to do their jobs, but not prepared. - breakfast is ok, but some food preparation staff's behaviors made me question the food safety. - the hotel's price is ~30% higher than hotel rooms with AC in non-smoking hotels in constanta or other coastal resort towns in romania.
