GBWe had a very pleasant stay overall. A special mention goes to Veronica in the breakfast restaurant — she was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and a real credit to the hotel. Reception staff were also very friendly and efficient, both at check-in and check-out. The lake views are truly stunning, particularly from the restaurant, and were a highlight of our visit.
There were a few minor issues during our stay: the fridge switched on and off quite frequently, the power went out once (though reception resolved it quickly), and the toiletries hadn’t been fully replenished, which meant we ran out. We also noticed a limited selection of tea and coffee, and only bath towels were provided rather than hand towels.
