The location was good. The staff were friendly & helpful. The view across the golf course was impressive.

No air-conditioning in the bed room made it difficult to sleep.

The room was about 35°c as when we arrived the windows were left open with the blinds up so the sun was beaming in. Surely to keep a room cool windows should have been shut up today and blinds down to keep the sun out?

The rooms were good and seemed recently refurbished. The location is great with several restaurants around. I enjoyed the car park, which also offered an EV charging station.

Dinner selection was limited if you were not part of the golf retreat group.

Lovely, peaceful setting with clean and comfortable rooms. Perhaps not ideal for young children, but suited us with older teenagers well. Plenty of choice at breakfast buffet. Large bar area for the evening.

Pillows in the room uncomfortable. Too firm. Lack of air conditioning.

We live in the Sussex countryside and the Dorset Resort Hotel is very much in the Dorset countryside which suited us just fine. The included breakfast was very good to set us up for a good day of exploration. We are not golfers but I am sure judging by the amount of golfers that were there it's has all the facilities that they need.
