The staff were amazing, especially Brigit! She was an excellent help in navigating the island and getting access to the town hall for part of my academic research. Brigit went utterly above and beyond, taking me to the Church of St George and to the Minister afterward; she was very mindful of my disability and did everything she could to make my trip so wonderful and memorable. If only all hotel staff could be as wonderful as her! I absolutely hope to be able to return to Reichenau in the near future and I already know where I’ll stay again.

I have absolutely no complaints: my stay was genuinely wonderful. I had a problem with my bill, but Brigit solved it very simply for me even though she didn’t have to resolve the issue personally. I cannot say enough about her: wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

The proprietors were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

WEll appointed room with fabulous windows and views - at night, stars were bright through the roof-windows! Well-made wooden cabinetry, bed, and furniture impressive. My own balcony for sitting out to view the bay.

Height differential on exiting room needs to be better-marked - took a pretty uncomfortable fall the first time I left the room (hall was also dark).

A lovely old hotel with exceptional hosts and staff. We had a large room with balcony on the 2nd floor (stairs only), with a very comfortable bed and good shower. There were insect screens on most of the windows so it was comfortable to leave the windows open and not be concerned about mosquitos. From the deck we had an wonderfully uninterrupted view over greenery towards the lake. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and it was especially nice to be able to have it in the garden overlooking the lake on pleasant mornings. There is an honesty bar with a good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to enjoy in room or in the garden. The on-site parking was very convenient.

We enjoyed the accommodation immensely.
