Hotel Muqaddas

The hotel looks like just after the reconstruction, our room was brand new. Very close to the city centre less than 10 minutes to Registon, airport bus stops close. The best was the offer for breakfast, hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit and sweets and fried chicken which I hadn't expected and I liked very much. I have just realized that the last-minute booking in Autumn 2024 enables you to get a lower price than booking 2 months in advance. Great value for money.

Nothing, everything was great.

The hotel was clean. The staff were helpful via Google translate. Allowed early check in. The people were really nice. The location was really good to all sights.

The bathroom smelt extremely bad. Everytime I had to go in, I had to take a deep breath and put the shower tap on to reduce the smell to allow myself to use the bathroom. This was the only problem as well as there was no lift. Also the blanket was tiny and I am only 5ft3.

Generally it was a clean hotel. P/P ratio was good. They accept payment by credit card. They help. He was close to both Registan and Amir Temur. Breakfast was nice.

It would be better if there were direction signs. There are strands of hair in the rooms. They must be cleaned.

Location

We were first shown room with air-condition unit literally 30 cm above bed, next room was smelling like cigarettes and the last room we took was in another building but sound insulation was non existent so it was very noisy from exterior air-condition unit. Beds were very hard. Communication with reception was hard since they speak zero english.

Very good location, only 10 minutes from the Registan. Good breakfast.

It is close to registan square. We were in less than 15 minutes walk in all the interesting places.

Hotel Muqaddas (HM on Google maps) really exceeded our expectations as the exterior looks quite run down and old. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the modern and neat interiors. Very clean and spacious room with good buffet breakfast and convenient location with walking distance from Registan. Also, free bottled water available at reception 24x7 which is really appreciated during the peak of summer.

No elevator made it quite tiring to walk up to the 3rd floor and no one offered to help with our bags.
