Really clean, really nice staff, gave us towels and soap and blankets. They also let us check in late

Location was a bit dodgy and the room was quite bright so we had to hang a blanket over the window.

As per some other reviews I did get charged more in colones than was advertised in USD on booking.com

Service: When we returned to check out at 11:10 AM, the cleaning lady complained that check-out was at 11:00 AM. She even called her boss, despite the check-out time clearly listed on Booking.com as being between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. This should be clarified and addressed with the manager to avoid future misunderstandings. Noise: The property is very noisy. The laundry machine was running as early as 6:00 AM, showing little consideration for guests. Additionally, staff spoke loudly on their phones using speaker mode in the hallways, disturbing guests trying to sleep. Cleanliness: The walls were dirty and stained. Shockingly, we even found a condom wrapper under the bed, which is unacceptable. Lighting: A lot of light enters the room from outside. The curtains need to be replaced with blackout curtains to provide proper darkness for sleeping. Mattress Quality: The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. As someone who manages hotels on the Caribbean side, I’ve never encountered such poor-quality mattresses. Pillow Hygiene: The pillows smelled bad, as if they hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked. They had an unpleasant odor, resembling spoiled food. This property is not suitable for guests or families. It operates more like a motel than a hotel, with visible signs displaying hourly rates, clearly indicating it is intended for short-term stays, such as those for sexual activity. I am surprised that a reputable company like Booking.com would allow this property to be listed as a hotel, as it is misleading and does not meet the expectations of typical hotel standards.

Good place to stay a night before taking buses to other places. Good price and staff was really nice and helpful.
