Goodhope Hotel Shah Alam

1) The only hotel available near MBSA Convention Centre. In fact it is situated only across the road. Very convenient for me to go to the event at the MBSA Convention, I can just walk to the venue. 2) Clean hotel, very comfortable bed. 3) Polite and helpful front desk staff.

My only issue was some distracting noises from outside the room. My room was situated near the elevator, and I can hear other guests talking and laughing while they are waiting for the lift. No problem with being noisy during the day, but when people being noisy at night was disturbing my sleep. And since I got a ground-floor room, I was disturbed by someone knocking on my window at 1.00 a.m. He knocked on the window like someone giving a morning call, I suspected he got the wrong room (luckily the windows have iron grille). Maybe the hotel can consider to sound-proof the rooms.

I booked a family room with one single bed and one queen bed. Considering the price we paid, we got what we paid for. Everything was just okay for me. Ample parking is available, and the premises are gated for added security. The receptionist is available until 11 pm.

The room space is quite limited, especially for a Muslim to perform a prayer. Additionally, the toilet door does not close as it should; we need to pull it a bit to synchronize and close the door properly

Strategic location suits to customers wants.

The room is fine and comfy though its a little small for adults of 4 but overall I loved the stay :) I have nothing particular to complain either. Since the room is small it gets SO cold at night hahah
