Tamarindo Village Hotel

Check in was easy and the hotel staff were very nice. The rooms were spacious and the grounds were full of luscious green trees. Very quiet, off the beaten path and tucked away from the noise of the main downtown area. Highly recommend!

Nothing - we loved it!

We loved our stay. comfy clean rooms, great location with the beach, restaurants and shops a few blocks away. Martha and Steve were amazing hosts, it felt like home.

My husband and i stayed here for about 6 days. Ist time in Costa Rico. I had a wonderful preview of the trip from Trip Advisor. Steve and Martha were warm and gracious hosts. The hotel is a true boutique experience, every room was unique. Very bright and colorful. We had room 11 at the top of a lot of stairs. Every amenitie was provided for. We rented a car and drove around everyday. There are grocery stores and lots of beach front restaurants. Food was great. It rained a few days and a lot of roads were muddy with potholes but passable. Many of the hotels do require full mobility so if you are disabled its going to be tough getting around. Big plus was how interesting and kind everyone we met were. We never met a stranger. Great trip and thanks to our hosts for their warmth and kindness.

Great hosts. You can tell that they care about their property. While I was there they replaced the pool umbrellas even though they looked fine.

The breakfast could use a little more attention.

The hotel is at the top of a very step and windy hill.. when you arrive you realize there is a lot that acts as a garbage dump On the right hand side and on the left hand side there is a property being developed .. you check in and you have to drag your suitcase up many many stairs .. the breakfast was very good .. the sun is very nice .. the room is ok but it does not look like the pictures .. the pool area is nice ..

Felt immersed in nature, the price was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and the on-site pets were sweet. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I liked that there was an extra blanket as it's hard for me to sleep with only a sheet. The owner and staff were very friendly as well. We only stayed one night as we were meeting friends at a larger hotel but if it was just the two of us I would have stayed here longer.

The location was a little bit of a walk from the main part of town but very manageable and made for a good night's rest since it was quieter.

Good location and the Breakfast was delicious. the garden room was good. Bed was huge. and has a little sitting area. AC was great for this style room.

the Bungalow room was not good. the upstairs bed area not clean. the spa was not clean. the AC did not cool area with the two twin beds.

Location was great, staff were all friendly and amazing.

Just the hot water running out. Everything else was great!

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Only a short walk to the beach.
