Hotel Elixir

Location close to the action and beaches but far quieter. Very good, small hotel with small rooms but comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. Pool is small but nice area to lounge about. Staff are great. Don't expect luxury but simply a nice place to call home when visiting Tamarindo

It was in a good location, just 5 minutes walk from everything. Elisa was very welcoming and helpful, even arranging transport for us from San Jose.

The room on the ground floor was small, when you opened the sliding door (no other windows) you had to be careful no one was walking past to breakfast or to their car! Or to the pool, Also the apartment directly across. No privacy unless curtains were closed. The pool area felt un inviting, being surrounded by gravel and parking spaces

The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond to make your entire stay is perfect. It is a very friendly and welcoming property. Morning breakfast is delicious with numerous choices. The pool is perfect and you will usually have it to yourself. This property is very close walking distance to the beach as 2 of the best restaurants in town are neighboring properties. There is also a Saturday market a block away.

If you want total peace and quiet this isn't the place for you. Tamarindo is busy everywhere so there is always some noise. You can't get away from it if you want to be walking distance to the beach.

Clean, quiet, comfortable easy access to everything

Not really suitable for two octogenarians as it is situated on an unmade unlit road, which made it difficult to go out after dark.

We loved this little hotel, tucked away on a quiet street, but just a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Very comfortable room, and a great shower! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the avocado toast! We would definitely stay here again.
