Hotel Elixir

I really enjoyed this small boutique hotel. Its close enough to the main strip to be able to easily walk to restaurants and shops, but far enough away that you don't get the noise. Its fairly secluded, and as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. I stayed in a suite, which I felt was reasonably priced for the time of year I went (September). The ladies I had interaction with (I think one was named Erica?) were absolutely the loveliest, most welcoming people, and were extremely helpful when I asked for recommendations for restaurants.

I stayed in a suite (#6) to have some extra space-The living room had bean bag chairs that were uncomfortable-I would have preferred to have a sofa in there. The lighting was a bit dim, especially in the bathroom-it would have been nice to have more light. There was a small fridge that was very handy for snacks, water, and fruit, but it would have been nice to have a small microwave and maybe some utensils for those days when you didn't feel like eating out.

La ubicación, se encuentra en el centro de Tamarindo, hay varios lugares cerca para poder conocer y disfrutar. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Hay un parqueo al frente del hotel, si quieren guardar el carro deben de entrar por la calle que se encuentra a un lado y correr el portón, el parqueo es pequeño

It was close to town. The staff was helpful and responsive.

The photos make out the property a lot nicer than it actually is. The pool is extremely small. My floor was not super clean. The towels were old and stained. I have no idea why this property is a 4 star. There is also no breakfast. We got caught in the rain and came back and there was no warm water for the shower. We actually were so cold that night! There is also no minibar or even a coffee maker .

Pequeño pero precioso hotel en el centro de Tamarindo. La habitación tenía todo lo que necesitaba: limpia, cómoda, buen baño y el aire acondicionado funcionó de maravilla. La piscina es pequeña pero preciosa. Había muchos restaurantes, cafés, bancos y farmacias a tan solo 3 minutos de distancia caminando. El proceso de Checkin fue muy sencillo ya que los propietarios se estuvieron comunicando conmigo via Whatsapp y me dieron todas las indicaciones para poder entrar al hotel y obtener la llave de mi cuarto. Volveré a este hotel la próxima vez que visite Tamarindo
