The location was excellent being right on the High Street Free parking was behind the pub, we rang in advance asking if we could leave the car there before we booked in & this wasn’t a problem Lovely seating area outside Staff were excellent very friendly and attentive

Nothing really but room was quite dark so more lighting would have been nice

We enjoyed our meals and the staff were always helpful and cheerful. The location of the hotel in Tenterden was ideal as we visited many National Trust properties in the area including a trip to Canterbury.

The bathroom needs improvement as it was impossible not to get water on the floor during a shower or bath. This caused a problem in the floor below.

Das Duschwasser wurde auch nach einer Minute nicht warm. Das Wasser im Waschbecken lief fast gar nicht ab. Das Frühstück war eher lieblos und bescheiden.

Great location we have used previously, to walk and use Kent and East Sussex Railway. Car park is a bonus. Lovely quiet room and we were at the front. Full of character and staff were excellent. Friendly and interested, very attentive and helpful. Our meal was very good too and showed thought as it wasn't the usual fare. Lovely hotel.

Perfect location for wandering around Tenterden, with easy access to the steam railway. Room was spotless with quality toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The little extras were unexpected such as an iron and ironing board, a fan for those hot nights and a coffee machine.
