Hotel Friedrich

Room was not as stated and expensive. Details said large room with kettle for tea making, safe, city views and more. Room was very small (with large double bed), no kettle or cupd, no safe, no esting area and a view of a roof and car park! I reported this to person in charge but all I received was a shrug of shoulders, even with complaint written in German I have asked for a reduction/refund as room only worth Eu65 maximum not Eu90 First time I have had this problrlem through booking.com AFTER this report written I met with owner, who said IF he had been there (day off) he would have moved me to a bigger room, but as difficult to communicate could not understand why room was not as advertised. Owner was trying to be helpful I believe, but check the wording etc. if you book

Location is very good as very peaceful

There is no lift so people with big bags need to take care, size of the room is really small

- rooms have been refurbished and are very clean - breakfast offers decent selection of food and tastes very good

- rooms may get a little noisy due to traffic on the road next to the hotel

very friendly and service-oriented staff and owner. clean and modern rooms. very good breakfast. 😊
