beautiful place in the middle of nature. The rooms are massive and private. Juanjo and Tomas are wonderful hosts and cooks. Dinner was always a wonderful surprise

The road to get there is not great, especially as it rained everyday and one of the entry roads was blocked

We stayed overnight on our way back to the UK from Portugal. Glad to have arrived just before darkness as the road leading to El Sosiego is quite narrow. We were warmly welcomed and shown our room which was spacious and clean. We enjoyed a 3 course evening meal and breakfast. I’m sure it must be wonderful in the warmer months when you can take advantage of the pool and relax.

Bed a little firm for me, however it’s personal taste and I’m used to a softer mattress. (Sue)

Very quiet, amazing views of Serra da gata, nice swimming pool, and good food. Fermin and David will make you feel at home.

Idyllic. Everything was pretty much perfect. From the breakfasts to the dinners, the friendliness of the owners, the tranquility of the location to the views from the terrace, I can't think of a single thing that could be bettered.

Absolutely nothing.

The landscape and nature surrounding the place, the food, the staff, and the swimming pool! It's trully a peaceful and magic place to disconnect. The little villages nearby in Sierra de Gata also deserve a visit.

it such a nice getaway. we arrived late night, it was already dark - so in the morning we were surprised by the location. owner offered us a dinner - just for two of us - we have been the only guests that evening. salmon was one of the best we have ever had

An amazing retreat and relax. This hotel is both luxurious and homely. It is quite simply beautiful.

I didn't like leaving, and will be back.
