The staff were excellent. Really helpful and good old fashioned standards of service. Lovely atmosphere and very comfortable.

Great location at the top of the High Street, with a large car park and nice outside areas. The bar and restaurant were a special feature and we found the food to be very good. Our double room was more like a suite, with a separate seating area and large bathroom with roll top bath and shower. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Can't think of anything, frankly, it was a perfectly nice hotel and we had an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was ok but not fab

I had a upgrade, and the room was outstanding. The bed was exceptional. Ask for room 33 you wont be disappointed!!

I just wished they started breakfast on the Sunday at 7.30 because I could not make the most of an amazing stay.

A very picturesque location in a well kept building, the room was lovely. The restaurant was quite nice too. Ample parking in the back, I found a nice spot under the trees for my motorcycle.

The room I got had the humming noise of the kitchen extractor fan going through the whole night. I had my ear plugs with me (for motorcycling) so it was alright, but if I was unprepared I probably wouldn't get good sleep.

Presentable hotel with welcoming and attentive staff. Great buffet breakfast with something for everyone, including options cooked to order. Thoughtful selection of teas in room, homemade shortbread.and filtered water.
