Tama Hotel

Notre passage au Tama Hotel restera l'un de nos meilleurs souvenirs au Japon. Le patron a fait preuve d'une immense gentillesse, et a été plus qu'aux petits soins avec nous. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'écouter nous partager sa passion pour les chats, des histoires sur le Japon et en particulier la ville d'Ishinomaki. Il nous a également conseillé un incroyable Izakaya où nous avons pu déguster des produits locaux délicieux. Un homme rare, comme on en rencontre peu. Si nous avons l'occasion de revenir au Japon, il serait impensable de ne pas revenir au Tama Hotel.

The host was extremely nice. He insisted on taking us to, and from the harbour (we went to the cat island). He also gave us a ride to one of the izakayas we had selected. Highly recommend.

Could use a bit of vacuuming.

A fantastic place to stay. A unique experience to be able to hang out with the cats and a very comfortable hotel. The owner/managers and very kind and helpful and have thought of everything to ensure a great stay. The lifts to and from the ferry to Tashiro island, with a stop for baked goods, the bicycles available to borrow and the overall kindness is wonderful, Definitely a place to stay for a unique Japanese experience.

Chambre assez grande, plus que ce qu’en disait l’annonce (15 m2 environ au lieu de 9). Pas de bruit le soir de mon séjour. Petit coin cuisine. Parking facile.

Check-in long. Le propriétaire était absent, occupé à autre chose. Et il n’a quitté ses occupations que lorsqu’il les a terminées alors qu’il me voyait attendre, après une longue journée de visites. Télé s’arrêtant et redémarrant toutes les 5 ou 10’. Le réfrigérateur a gelé ma nourriture (achetée pour le lendemain matin, car le petit-déjeuner n’est pas servi).

猫ちゃんがたくさんおり、人懐っこい猫ちゃんだった！ 一緒には寝れないが、触れ合う時間はとても長くできる！

猫ちゃんの部屋の空気は良くなかったので、ハウスダストだったりアレルギー弱い人は、マスク着用がオススメ！

The owner is hands-down the best thing about this property. He has a fantastic system for translating into English and is so incredibly warm, generous and welcoming. As my husband said, ‘He is just the nicest guy!’ He took us to and from the cat island and that eased a lot of our worries. Also - cats! It’s a cat hotel with a lot of cats living there. That was also a great feature of this hotel.

It could do with a refresh but honestly it doesn’t need it. You’ll have a great stay!!!

The room was comfortable and perfect for our short trip to Ishinomaki. The host was so welcoming and helpful with getting us to and from Cat Island. We also spent time in the cat cafe and helped feed the cats! I highly recommend this place especially if you want to visit Cat Island.
