Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful Food was excellent Location was beautiful

We were pleasantly greeted by Lisa upon sign in. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in an intimate setting. Breakfast was served piping hot in a brightly lit dining room. We loved our walks around the beautifully landscaped property.

Beautiful old style house hotel but if I had to find a fault maybe just a little updating needed ie creaky floorboards.

Beautiful location and the fact that it was 300 years old

Booked a king room and room we were given was nothing like the room on the photos . Two beds a double and single , no headboards , no light on one side and no bedside table between 2 beds so nowhere to put glasses or drink . Only one chair in room . Coffee tray not clean / kettle dirty . No plug socket by bed to charge phones. Only a thin net curtain in bathroom and no privacy at night when in bathroom. Tap in bath had missing piece as it was too close the wall . Main at breakfast good salmon and scrambled egg but buffet very limited . No latte or cappuccino and no Earl Grey ( the waitress didn’t know what Earl grey was )
