Capital Battambang Hotel

Quite clean, close to the bus station but quite far from the pub street. Very quite at night. The bed linen was clean. AC quite ok, not super powerful but enough to make room cool.

The electricity works only with the inserted card and they demand to leave the card at the front desk. I didn't leave the card with them cuz I needed AC working and the fridge but I hag to leave the room door open =( Poor lightning. Dust on the wardrobe. They only give a soap and a very hard brush, no other toilletries. The towels' quality is bad. I booked a room with balcony but there were no balcony in the room, only outside terrace. And the most important - the staff does not speak English. Next time will stay somewhere else

Nothing to complain about

The room is very large and comfortable. They provide drinking water and toiletries. There's a TV but I didn't watch it so can't comment on the availability of channels. There's plenty of restaurants for good food, shops and atms nearby. The hotel is a 1 minute walk to the bus offices. The tuk tuk driver who offers tours here is great and is very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly.

The shower was only just warm. At first, the room looked quite clean but then I dropped something near the bed and saw a dried up liquid from a previous guest so it wasn't as clean as I thought. They did offer to clean my room during my stay though. The staff tried to overcharge me by half a dollar at checkout and then underpay my change. This was all resolved very easily though

Within walking distance to the market and the center of town.

It was not very clean, especially the bathroom. The A/C did not work properly. On booking.com I paid 20$ per night. But in the hotel the price was only 13$. No way to pay the lower price. They insisted on 20$. Only one person spoke english. I don't recommend it.
