The quality far exceeded our expectation! My wife and I had to stay in Anstruther at very short notice and our usual option was not available. As the stay was only for one night we opted to stay here with some trepidation! WOW is the only word I can use to describe the ‘Outbuilding’! Do not even give it a second thought, it will far exceed your expectations and, as a bonus, there is a parking space right outside the door!!! And the bed……..given that it our first sleep on a memory foam mattress is incredibly comfortable.

Trying not to be too nit picky, the only two things that did not meet the rest of the exceptional offering were:- The hot water takes ages to run, both in the wash basin and shower. The curtains over the door and side panel are a little tight. And if that’s all I can find - All is grea!

The room was very clean, bed was really comfortable, shower was amazing and plenty of room for clothes, toiletries etc.

There was a poster in the window advertising breakfast from 8am and they weren't on. Bit disappointed in that.

Facilities themselves, good enough water pressure and space for room, tv. Was able to check in half an hour early.

I was in a room not advertised with almost floor to ceiling windows (including the door) in the entire room, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and was unable to reach the owner despite messaging. As a solo female traveller it was a very uncomfortable experience and I barely slept. The whole reason for booking was tired tin between trips but as I was unable to do this, I would like a refund. Having only curtains to cover the window walls that don’t close all the way is not acceptable, especially when this has not been advertised.
