Stefanos Village Hotel

The view was indeed stunning, however not worth almost 200 per night just for that

We recently stayed at this hotel, paying almost €200 per night, and it was way too much for the value we received. The hotel claims to have 4 stars, but the room we got was completely outdated. The beds were hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen was not equipped at all, and the bathroom had a smelly toilet, which was very unpleasant. Breakfast was very disappointing. The only thing we could eat was the Greek yoghurt. They promised croissants, but we received the smallest, hardest croissant ever, which was practically inedible. While the view from the pool was definitely nice, the sunbeds were falling appart. The staff did not make any effort to make us feel welcome. When we left, they didn't even ask how our stay was or engage in any small talk. Additionally, parking is not included in the price; they charge €6 per day extra. This is perplexing, considering there are plenty of free spaces in front of the hotel and throughout the entire city. For half the price and a 2-3 star rating, I would have said fair enough. But for the amount of money we paid, it was definitely not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel unless they significantly improve their facilities and service.

I don’t know where to begin in describing what we LOVED about the property. The location in Myrthios is absolutely breathtaking. Our apartment had a wonderful veranda with an unobstructed view of the beach below, in Plakias. We chose to eat on the veranda as we believed this location rivalled any other seaside restaurants in town. The room was spotless and had every amenity that we required. The pool area was absolutely stunning with gorgeous views of the town of Plakias and beaches below. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We could not have asked for a more fabulous place to stay. This was our first time visiting the Plakias/Myrthios area and we will surely return to Stefanos Village. It has been the highlight of our vacation in Greece. We really enjoyed its proximity to many wonderful beaches and for those who love adventure, it is close to the Kourtaliotiko gorge and waterfall - a definite must- see. In summary, this was certainly an unexpected but very welcomed paradise that is so much more lovely in person.

Stefanos is a beautiful medium sized modern hotel complex, built in greek style up on the slopes overlooking Plakias Bay, with great views but quit location. Spacious apartment with all what is needed, including seaview, spacious balcony (with private hot spa), very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and also nice infinity pool (for which it was too cold and windy during our stay, but is awesome).
