Hotel Restaurant Le Giétroz

The location is perfect. An easy walk to the ski lift.

We had stay here many times years ago and nothing has changed. The hotel is okay basically clean. The entrance was very unappealing, and looked unkept; full ashtrays and half empty glasses in front. The room was okay very sparse, we did notice our trash was not emptied upon our arrival. The price is a little too high for what you get. Breakfast used to be included now there is a charge. You are paying for the location. Parking is very limited. There is a restaurant which we use to love, unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience the waitress was rude and was rushing us. We had fondue served with slices of bread not cubes. The food was okay but we didn’t go back.

Everything was perfect. We had a great stay here for one week of skiing and will definitely be back. Staff were all very hospitable and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, c 5 min walk from the ski lift. The hotel also has a great restaurant, bar and ski/boot storage facilities.

Lovely staff and very comfortable beds. The hotel restaurant is excellent

It is a pleasant clean hotel. My bathroom was fair sized with plenty of hot water after skiing. The bed was comfortable, the windows opened and the central heating worked. The breakfast was good with a choice of cereals, breads, boiled eggs, meats, cheese and jams with tea, coffe or fruit juice. It is about 300m from the railway station and the chairlift to Verbier, which is an easy walk. It also has a good bar menu and a more up-market restaurant which is also good.

It is, of course, at the bottom of the valley and you need to take a chairlift to Verbier but the price reflects this disadvantage.

Very clean and tidy and well priced. Breakfast was good.

Only a few car parking spots.
