So far so good for the paid price

Excellent value for money. Near the beach, the market and convenience stores. The room was clean, the bathroom was new and the AC worked perfectly well.

The hotel next door did a lot of construction work the first few days which was difficult. This wasn't this hotel's fault but it can make your stay complicated if such things occur when you're there.

The room is really nice, clean and cozy, the staff very friendly and helpful, the best accomodation with quality and price! Nice area close to everything you need for your journey!

The decor was nice and had character. Great location.

The hotel was listed as non smoking. The whole hotel, especially our room smelt of smoke. We saw the person in the next room smoking whilst housekeeping cleaned their room. So clearly the hotel are aware and don’t care. This made for a really unpleasant stay. As well as this the toilet wouldn’t flush properly throughout our stay. The table side lamp was broken and unusable. The bedsheets and kimonos in the wardrobe did not smell fresh. The room was not cleaned very well, with dust and remains of food in the shower. Strange. Lastly, the biggest let down was the staff. Very unfriendly and cold. The lady who greeted us when we arrived was quite abrupt and unhelpful. Because of this we found we weren’t comfortable sharing our other thoughts on our room as we didn’t feel like anything would be done about it.

Friendly and helpful management and staffs, good location as well as the very comfortable bed.

Aircon was not cold at all until I did a simple servicing, clearing the filter which was heavily filled with dust and dirt. Water in the shower room was very small, hard to shower. Floor was sandy when we check in. Sink was dirty with stain and base of the kettle covered with stain too. Despite having a kitchen, no detergent, no drinking cup, no cooking pot and cutlery. Although we managed to get from the management after request, but I think all this should be there to begin with. If not what is the point spending extra money to book a room with kitchen.
