This property is absolutely gorgeous, located in a serene location. The preserved old heritage is combined with new modern design and convenience to turn this historic building into a stunning hotel with incredible sense of style and comfort. Every corner is designed intentionally to create a welcoming and soothing experience. The staff are one the best I’ve experienced. Very responsive, friendly, helpful, and warm! The restaurant is a beautiful set up with outstanding food. Absolutely high value, and I highly recommend it! The location is a bit out of Camino oath , but the hotel offers free shuttle to one of the villages on the path and we planned our stages accordingly and it worked out perfectly. The night we staying here was my birthday and they made it extra special. I am very happy I chose here for that night and I only wish I could arrive around and stay longer to enjoy this place a little longer get.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Het is een 500 jaar oud klooster dat omgebouwd is tot luxe hotel. Het is rustig, sereen en ligt afgelegen. Hygiëne is top! Alles heeft een luxe uitstraling en je dineert ook in luxe stijl. Het is 1.5 uur lopen vanaf de Camino maar met de gratis taxiservice die je ophaalt van en terugbrengt naar de Camino in Ligonde ( gewoon even bellen/appen met het hotel, taxiservice is 24/7) ben je er zo dus de afstand is geen probleem. Absoluut een 10 uit 10!! Ik zou er zeker weer gaan logeren als ik nogmaals de Camino loop.

Er was niets wat tegenviel. De afstand zou normaal een probleem zijn als je de Camino loopt maar dat probleem word weggenomen door de gratis 24/7 beschikbare taxiservice van het hotel. Wel een note! De spa faciliteiten waarmee ze adverteren op booking zijn NIET gratis, zit dus niet bij de prijs in. Dit kost €25 per uur wat ik persoonlijk veel te duur vind. Voor de rest was er niets wat tegenviel.

This was an unexpected stay, however, the best place we could have found. it is remote, and we had to take a taxi to reach it, however, it was worth it, the staff, from the receptionist guy to the manager and the cleaning ladies were pleasant and very attentive. We highly recommend this place, excellent overall, and the stay is truly a gem.
