I loved being able to walk from the hotel to the market. I was able to eat at the market at a very reasonable price and also bought a couple of things there. The manager of the hotel put me in touch with a wonderful lady who organised a taxi and a tour of the ruta de Puuc again at a very reasonable price. Her English was limited but as I have some Spanish, we muddled through. I would definitely reccomend the hotel with it's outdoor swimming pool as a convenient stop off for anyone passing through. I extended my stay for an extra night.
