Grand Hotel Nawanshahr

Very average hotel. Room had not been properly cleaned & upon complaint, very quickly rectified. Staff friendly & welcoming- had good & prompt servicec from housekeeper Swaranjit. Bed very comfortable indeed.

Dated & tired furniture & fittings. Carpet in hall leading to the room torn & dirty, so needs replacing. Not enough choice at breakfast but given the tariff, it is understandable.

the food in the evening. the breakfast was very limited.

the staff were sometimes incompetent, the amenities in the room weren’t the best eg I had to ask for an iron and ironing board and when it came, the iron plug pins didn’t fit into the socket. the bedding was ok but not very comfortable and I’m not convinced it was cleaned as regularly as it should be.

The rooms are nice and open so you have a lot of room to move around. The bed was super comfy and the food was great.

The hotel overall needs a good clean the bed sheets need more attention.
