Beautiful old hotel with lovely facilities Staff at reception were friendly

Was phone approximately a week before arriving to see if we wanted to eat in the hotel the night we stayed, my husband said yes as we had done that quite a few times on this holiday as we were travelling every day on a motorbike ( all our hotels were 4* plus ) When we sat down for the meal I opened the sealed menu and realise the meal was €198 per person not including drinks This hotel was only £165 for 2 B&B so certainly did not reflect the prices for their evening meals When we explained to the owner that we were on a months holiday and didn’t expect this price for an evening meal we were able to cancel I actually just wanted to leave the hotel at this stage as it certainly destroyed our stay My advice to the hotel , if you are phoning guests to see if they want the evening meal, you really need to make it clear the price I checked their reviews afterwards and see this is a common theme

Tout était parfait : de l'accueil, avec une boisson au choix offerte, jusqu'au moment du départ. De très nombreuses petites attentions et un personnel aux petits soins ont fait de ce séjour un moment inoubliable. Le petit déjeuner, plus particulièrement, fut un épisode mémorable tant au niveau de la qualité que de la quantité.
