Landgasthof Auerschmiede

Terrific location near the highway but quiet and lovely. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was typical, but good. We had dinner there and it was delicious! The people who run the place are lovely. Note that they are primarily a cash business.

We have never traveled in Europe in the summer before, so we are learning some lessons. We usually stay in small properties like this in the fall or spring but the lack of air conditioning made for a miserable stay for a couple of heat wimpy Americans. Additionally we couldn’t leave the windows open because the smoking area was right below our room. However, if we return in cooler months, we would definitely stay here again!

Prima locatie voor tussenstop van of naar Italie. Grote kamers, prima bedeen. Goed ontbijt en prima restaurant.
