USPlace was clean, close to the jetty and well maintained. Good hot water and they did provide tea and water for ask guests which assistant not all hotels and hostels do at Kuala Tahan. Hosts live on property so were easy to contact as needed. Woke up to roosters and nature. Air-condition worked perfectly.
The towels were not the cleanest. The walls are paper thin so I could hear everything next door. The hosts and the staff only spoke Malay so it was a bit difficult to communicate but that was not a huge deal. I was in Malaysia afterall.
