Direct access to world class surf and beautiful nature! Amazing staff and our kids loved the big pool.

The hotel has a beautiful design but is in need of some maintenance.

Beautiful and secluded location

It’s unique. The architectural design is amazing. This is one of the only surf in surf out places on Lombok. A boat will pick you up at the hotel and let you surf from dusk to breakfast. It’s amazing. We travel with children and we could leave them alone and with someone from the hotel to look after them. Staff is awesome. They are themselves. Love that.

My wife thinks the place need a touch up. But I like how the tropical conditions made the place look. The local monkeys are awesome but they stole my sweets.

It is a beautiful location close to surf. Every room has an ocean view I believe. It’s peaceful and quiet. The staff is wonderful and helped us arrange taxis, surfboards, and boats to the surf. Several breaks in the area are accessible quickly by boat from the hotel. I also like to swim and it was safe and easy from the hotel at the medium to high tide, and the pools are also clean and spacious. Private yoga is available upon request. The food at the restaurant is delicious and priced fairly. We ate there often and enjoyed the variety of foods and drinks for all the meals . Beds were comfortable and the ac was consistent and effective. Communication was excellent, and everything inside and outside the room was well maintained and clean. Hot and cold drinking water was available in the villa, but not in the regular room… but the kind people working in the restaurant would fill up water bottles. It was great not to have to buy plastic. The entire stay felt warm, welcoming, tranquil, and luxurious while still being reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

The very end of the road is rough and the driveway down is steep, so we were reluctant to learn to use scooters there. Most people did use the scooters though, so it’s definitely doable. Scooters and taxis are available through the hotel, which is so convenient! The outdoor kitchen is a little challenging because we are on the edge of the jungle. Animals, including monkeys, will take advantage of any food left out!There were no kitchen supplies. We were fine once we figured out to keep everything in the nice sized refrigerator and prep food in the restaurant area instead. The staff was so generous and kind about getting anything we needed.

Towels were stained, bed linen was dirty and the shower was lacking maintenance. Also you can hear people walking in the room upstairs that made it hard to relax in the room. Big part of the hotel is unfinished

The remote location was great to get away from the business of the city. The room was quite nice and private.

The food was disappointing. It was expensive and not well prepared. For the price of the accommodation we would have expected a higher standard.

Beautiful location, quiet.

Access road is very poor, dangerous even on foot. Another guest who was staying there the same time as us had a nasty fall on the road resulting in a serious compound fracture of the ankle requiring emergency evac back home to Australia. Restaurant menu is limited, it’s not advertised but is an Ayurvedic based menu. Take note of the food you are served, we were given poached eggs with raw whites twice during our stay. Any extra requests with regards to meals are given an additional charge. We asked for butter with our toast and were expected to pay more each time. It’s extremely hard to get food elsewhere as the local restaurants are limited and also what is served needs to be closely checked as food safety is very loose there. You aren’t allowed to bring any food into the hotel with you. There’s some kind of local control over who you can use for transport and activities etc. You must book through the hotel and you must pay cash to the hotel for these services. You will struggle to get a driver to take you there or pick you up from there. We had to meet our tour bus (own booking) at the bottom of the hill as they wouldn’t come to the hotel to pick us up. Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. We were both struggled to sleep and were very sore each morning. The facilities are run down. Our shower was situated over a bath, access was tricky and could be very slippery and we are capable and fit. There was a huge crack down the side of the bath and also under the hand basin. Rocks fell off the walls each day. Communication is possibly the biggest hurdle. Make sure to use a translation app and be aware of the level of control there is at the hotel and general town area. We didn’t ever feel under any threat but certainly knew that we were under a level of control that never sits well with people who are used to making our own decisions and plans.

Fantastic views and lovely staff!

Beautiful place, very quite and peacefull, amazing views. We really enjoy the swimming pools and restaurant. The breakfasts are abundant and very good quality. The staff was super helpful and polite all the time. The monkeys came say hello, it was very cute.

The beach below the complex isn't the nicest, but it's practically desertic. The location is quite isolated, not great to walk around and it takes ages from the ferry port or airport. But it's worth it!
