Room was very nice

You couldn’t charge your room without having to pay a deposit on a credit card only. I don’t travel with a credit card and staff wasn’t very helpful to try to solve this. I’ve never heard of this before

Great location close to port and town - good for a town that doesn’t have grab cars as an option

Some of the policies are a bit silly - the main activity in Labuan Bajo is trips to the islands, but this hotel doesn’t allow you to take towels not even for a fee, other hotels of this calibre would not take issue with this. Also we wanted to get a taxi 8 min drive away to a lookout point and the hotel wanted to charge us 200,000 for the drive, with no pick up service.

Merouorah Komodo is in a great location and close to the wharf. The hotel is clean and modern. Staff were polite and very helpful.

Our room was near the lift and we could hear the lift opening and closing during the night. Breakfast menu had very limited western options.
