Everything about the Bull and Mouth is really outstanding - probably the best country hotel I've stayed in. The location is right in the centre of town, it's a classic, Australian gold rush era hotel, which has been beautifully and stylishly renovated, the staff and owners went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and convenient. I couldn't ask for more.

There was really nothing that I didn't like - the bistro was closed on Sunday and Monday - but that's not unusual in a country town. The meal I did have during my stay when it opened was so good it made the wait worthwhile.

The old architecture

While there are some great takeaway choices, you don't need to venture further than the hotels' restaurant which caters for all with great value for money meals. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the hotel is in the heart of town with easy walking to great local stores and a fantastically refurbished cinema.
