Though decor is a bit dated looking, our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a seating area where we could settle in with a pizza and glass of wine at night after touring about Achill Island. Bed was very comfortable. Grocery store is a stone's throw from the hotel if you need supplies. Sights on Achill are an easy drive away. Lots of parking available at the hotel.

Accessibility is a bit of an issue here. Not only because there is no lift to the rooms -- which isn't unusual in many smaller inns and hotels -- but there is also a labyrinth of fire doors that need to be opened and shut before you get to some of the rooms. Handling luggage up the stairs AND through so many doors is a bit of a pain in the butt. Wifi (lack of it) was also an ongoing issue. We were told it was because of the island location -- but wifi seemed reliable if you were in the pub/ restaurant so it's possible the hotel could do something better to boost signal for the rooms.

Everything was great. Great room very spacious and very comfortable. Cleanliness was top class and overall the service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great also and great value. Looking forward to coming back again.

Everything, a great hotel with fantastic food all day. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff but the evening restaurant team members were especially good. It was a great base for exploring Achill

Weather on the first day, when we couldn't see anything, the second day was full on summer 🤣
