Clachaig Inn

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Van alle gemakken voorzien. En de locatie is natuurlijk geweldig! Daar wordt je echt sprakeloos van! Midden tussen de bergen… Echt fantastisch! ‘s avonds kun je lekker eten in het restaurant of in de pub die erbij zit. Prijzen voor eten en drinken zijn niet goedkoop, maar wel zeker weten de moeite waard! Veel keuze uit veel verschillende whiskey’s en verschillende bieren! Zalig! De volgende dag is een prima ontbijt buffet. Niet overdreven veel maar wel voor ieder wat wils.

Het was jammer dat er een bacterie in het drinkwater zat… maar dit is maar een tijdelijk probleem waar wij net mee te maken kregen… helaas.. wel werden er gratis flesjes drinkwater geregeld. Dus er werd zeker meegedacht!

Breakfast was delicious and the location was amazing! Loved the pubs and the easy access to hikes.

The staff were friendly, engaging and very helpful. One in particular who we talked to at breakfast time was very interested in the history of the area and shared a lot with us, which was fascinating. The location was also excellent, and there are very few other places to stay in the immediate area. The setting is also beautiful.

We felt as though we were staying in a pub, which given the price of the room, was not good value. Our room was noisy up until late evening, given the bar in below in the same building and people talking until late into the night outside. There was a green emergency light in the room which, although it looks insignificant by day, cast a ghostly green light into the room all night.

Location, location, location! It's a dream for those who enjoy the countryside with fantastic views all round. The staff were very friendly and the food and drink there was varied and very good.

For the cost I thought the room was a bit basic; everything was there but it just seemed a bit pokey and drab. Th rest ofthe facilities were fine.
