Wisma Batu Mandi and Jungle trekking

Beautiful location, great food and fantastic staff. We loved our stay here! Our host Josef organised our whole trekking experience and also organised our transport to and from the bus station. We did 3 days trekking with our brilliant guides Anwar and Darwan. Their expertise was second to none, it was such a pleasure to share this experience with such knowledgeable and friendly guides, we loved every minute. The only downfall was that we couldn't figure out any of Josef's card tricks 🤔 🤣

Very lovely staff, Joseph is very knowledgeable and passionate about the surrounding jungle wildlife and flora. His wife is a very kind women and a great cook (try the gado gado). Sitting on the porch in the very well maintained gardens was serene, the river is less than 100m away from any of the rooms and again very peaceful stretch of the river. The accomodation is a 5min walk to the National Park and 10mins into town so everything is accessible whilst you're tucked away in a little slice of paradise. We stayed in the standard double room and you get what you pay for, but a very comfortable bed and bliss sleeping to the sound of the river. Would definitely come back here again!

No hot water, but with the heat tepid was refreshing anyway

very beautiful place and the hosts are amazing! they take care of a lot of the guests. the food is perfect and the room is also :-) and they organize a lot of things like trekking in the jungle and they take care of nature and the environment. so it’s the best !

Excellent money for value, very nice family. Quiet area. 10-15 minute walk from city center.

The location is great, n'est to the river which is easily accessible. The restaurant and all the staff were very great. Good space for kids to play.

The room was large but mattresses were not comfortable and the bathroom was in need to be refreshed. There was no table or anything to put our clothes / items.
