Bruton resorts

Very disappointing and stressful experience with Bruton Resorts, Kodaikanal. We had booked the room in advance through Booking.com and even called the resort beforehand to reconfirm that our reservation was active and available. Based on that confirmation, we travelled, had dinner, and reached the property late at night with small children expecting to check in peacefully. To our shock, we were informed on arrival that our room had already been given to other guests who arrived earlier. We were effectively denied accommodation despite holding a confirmed booking. What made this experience unacceptable was not just the overbooking or mismanagement, but the complete lack of responsibility and planning. If the room was unavailable, why was the booking accepted and reconfirmed? Why were we not informed before travelling to the property? Being stranded late at night in a hill station with young kids and having to search for alternatives at that hour caused unnecessary stress and ruined our trip experience. This incident raises serious concerns about booking reliability and guest handling. Guests should be cautious and avoid relying solely on confirmation from this property without having a backup arrangement, especially when travelling with family or arriving late at night. Very disappointed with the management and the way this situation was handled. I would not recommend this resort based on my experience.

We only liked its location. Rest everything was below average.

The rooms & facilities at this price. The bathrooms we far below average with broken wash basin ect

very good location, breakfast normal and not satisfied break fast available on 8.30 am this is very late and dont have children play materias

bath room doors not good dont give dental kits must provide door screens break fast must provide sufficient and provide camp fire to all for free

Control on insects inside room.

The rooms were good, they had shuttle, carrom, etc for kids but they need work room cleanliness. As there were lot of mosquitos and the roof was dripping water when it rains

Breakfast is good. Limited food was available as it has gas cylinder issue

We were stayed 2 days and nobody cleaned our room in those days.
