Die Gastgeberin gibt sich wirklich alle Mühe um den Aufenthalt im einfachen aber zweckmässigen Hotel so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt. Es ist definitiv kein 4 oder 5*-Hotel aber man bezahlt auch nicht soviel.

Freundlicher Empfang spätabends. Gutes Essen. Das spendierte Bier. Grosses, schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Bestes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

The place is just a train station at the border between Switzerland and France and there's nothing there except for the hotel and a patrol station. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The lady at the reception was amazing - she was ready to deal with any requests and make the stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant was ready to cook almost any meal (I have very specific dietary requirements and thought I'd be starving without a grocery) and they could also find everything I needed for a packed breakfast the next morning. The room was nice spacious and clean. I'm very satisfied with my stay and all this came unexpected.

In the hotel I liked everything.

We stayed as part of TMB however it is not a good choice as transport it very expensive and takes long time to get from the hotel to the TMB route. It is a small hotel so we asked the owner for transport but they had no availability for this Also note it is a deserted place only 2 hotels no shops for food or other things Breakfast starts at 8 it was too late for us we left before

Room was great and quiet, and food was great as well!

Not a lot to do in walking distance, but nobody's fault. Thankful for this great hotel.

Wir waren mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs, haben den Lac d'Emosson besucht und wollten am nächsten Tag mit dem Zug nach Chamonix reisen. Da war das Hotel Les Touristes, direkt am Bahnhof von Le Châtelard Frontière gelegen, ideal für uns. Wir hatten bereits gelesen, dass das Hotel zwar nicht sehr idyllisch gelegen ist, aber dass die Wirtin Maribel und ihr Team extrem gastfreundlich sind. Das war wirklich so: wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben ein einfaches, aber sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einer kleinen Terasse erhalten. Am Abend konnten wir dort essen und das Nachtessen war wunderschön präsentiert und köstlich. Die Nacht war, obwohl direkt an der Bahnlinie des Mont-Blanc Express gelegen, wunderbar ruhig. Das Frühstück am anderen Tag wurde von Maribel mit viel Freude serviert - ein guter Start in den neuen Tag.
