Great hidden gem a little bit off the main TMB trail! This place was recommended to us by another auberge that could not accommodate within given dates. It was a great choice and something outstanding on our Swiss part of the trail and Swiss 'hospitality' 😉. It went far beyond our expectations with very spacious and quiet room with the view and all the amenities available and delicious dinner including local specialities like rosti and flavoursome founde (mandatory!). Easy accessible from both Swiss part of the trail (bus) and French (train) as the property is located at train/bus stop. Finally the host is very welcoming and cheerful which per our experience was something uncommon in this region.

We just regret we couldn't stay longer.

My friend and I stayed in Les Touristes for one night during our hiking trip. We really enjoyed our stay there, food was great, it was very quiet during the night and staff was super friendly.

Stayed here whilst hiking haute route, took bus from Trient , owner was super accommodating with food preferences & organised a taxi transfer back to Trient for the next morning which was cheaper than the bus! Excellent breakfast& super shower.

The Les Touristes hotel is very conveniently located for TMB hikers. It is right next to the bus stop and only a few stops from Col de la Forclaz and Le Peuty. The food was outstanding and Maribel was an excellent hostess.

Small family run hotel with a nice restaurant. Maribel went above and beyond. She prepared our breakfast the night before and drove us to the trail start in the morning. Good value.

Maribel was very welcoming. We stayed here for one night during our TMB trek. We took the bus from Col de la Forclaz which conveniently stops just outside the hotel. The hotel is also just outside the Châtelard VS train station. We ate the best pizza for dinner and the breakfast was very tasty with a lot of attention to details. We could feel that food is prepared with love there.

There was no heating in our room and after a wet September day hiking in the rain we were a bit cold. It was the most expensive accommodation we had during the trek, but it was in line with all the Swiss prices.
