Habarana Farm Cottage

We love everything about this place. Location, the host, and the food. We are in the middle of the rice paddy with very fresh view and air. They offered us dinner (2500.each) with very generous serving as well as the breafast. We were well taken care of by our lovely host. If you need to relax and breath away from the city and busy tourist sport, this is your place. I would love to comeback here .

Very nice and original place, with lovely and friendly staff. You can feel yourself like in the jungle, with some peacocks running around 😀 Nice breakfast also.

Its village environment. When wake in morning very beautiful seeing Beautiful paddy field. Natural bird sound. Too much like this place Planing to visit again

Every things ok.. But road little bit bad.

It was from far my most genuine experience in Sri Lanka. I enjoyed my room with private bathroom but what truly got my heart is how beautiful this family is. Morning and night, I was able to enjoy authentic homemade Sri Lankan food and beyond that she adapted everything to my vegan diet. Everything was made with products grown in their farm and cooked on wood fire ! I also got to learn more about their culture and some Sinhala words. Highly recommend !

The staff were really friendly and very obliging and the food was also tasty.

The bath rooms we were in was exposed to the elements and as such there were frogs and spiders that we were contending with. So we were anxious going to bed as were unsure what insect or reptile could creep in through the partially open bathroom and through the door to our bedroom.

The family were so lovely and accommodating, breakfast was delicious! The rooms are very clean, the aircon works well and the beds were comfortable. Lovely views of the surrounding area.

The road is a little tricky for cars to get down but the tuktuks were fine

A wonderful land offering a genuine farming experience. You can travel easily to Sigiriya. It's like living on a farm, complete with your own cottage. The caretaker family is awesome and helpful, and the food cooked by the lady is delicious. Don't forget to visit the nearby cultural center on weekends. They host multiple traditional dancing activities that you can enjoy. It's within walking distance from your cottage. Take some time to relax and explore the area, including the tree house.

They could tidy the vicinity by the treehouse and arrange activities, aiding visitors in enjoying their afternoon. Moreover, they could install an outdoor shower for a refreshing experience under the sun.

The rooms were really comfortable and the staff was really accommodating. It’s run by a family and they are all really sweet and welcoming. They made us homemade food everyday, which was really tasty. I’d definitely recommend this place!
