First of all, I would like to inform the owner, I have worked in hospitality industry as I mentioned in our telephonic conversation (worked in a couple of 3 star to 5 star hotels for more than a decade) to understand how the system works. But you know better I guess!!!. The staff, the owner and everything about the communication with the property. There were no clarity in communications and they wait for you to pay the advance and call back saying we have cancelled your booking because you didn't pay half in advance, and now we don't have the same rooms which was chosen earlier and have to pay extra amount for the rooms or cottages which are available now. When spoke with the owner regarding this issue, got a rude answer saying, “Go ahead talk with the booking.com people, anyways, we don't trust booking.com.” I am attaching some pictures of the chat conversation that happened between me and the property staff Ms. Rekha. Do I recommend this place? Well you have to decide for yourself. Are you comfortable getting insulted after making advance payment? Are willing to paying extra money after confirmed booking? If your answer is yes to both those questions, please go ahead. I can only wish you luck. As per my understanding, we customers are at property's mercy after advance payment. I am using booking.com since 2017 and this is the first time I am having a nightmare after a booking. This one is for booking.com people: I contacted booking.com, for which I got reply after 6-7 hrs, tried calling the customer care number with no answer since I am a level 2 customer I am unable to make a priority call. I have to be in LEVEL 3 to get connected with customer care on a priority basis. Booking.com, please remember, first booking or LEVEL 3 customer, we all expect a minimum TAT from your side to resolve our problems at the earliest.

The river view rooms are nice. You get a panoramic view of the river and it's a pleasant place to stay. They have an elevator and small cottages too.

The bathroom wasn't up to good standard. The bathtub in the room had a clogged drain. Be careful of the glass shelves, they're not fixed.

Perfect stay. Very helpful staff and splendid location. Thoroughly recommended.

The location of the riverside cabins is incredible, with balconies looking out over a river full of wildlife and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are equipped with AC and, while basic, comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating and the breakfast was incredible, with fresh fruit, juices, omelettes and different Indian dishes each day. The location is very near the beach and several great restaurants.

The hot water in the shower could take upwards of 5 minutes to kick in and the floor of the bathroom did collect water.

The staff behaviour especially the receptionist. The woman wasn't at all helpful!
