Park Hotel

there was no electricity in my room even after reported to the reception desk.

This is a great option if you are staying in central Lubumbashi. It is much better than some other hotels offering comparable rates. The staff were friendly, it was quiet and peaceful at night, there was aircon and free wifi and the breakfasts were amazing! There is an ATM in the hotel dispensing dollars and you can exchange currency at the front desk so that's also great. It's in the city centre so easy to catch a taxi right outside. The breakfasts were included in the price (although on booking.com it says they're extra). So, I paid $80 for a room with breakfast.

The decor is dated and it's not a "fancy" hotel. Fine for me, but if you want something comparable to a top Western-style hotel, you'll need to pay double the price and stay at the Pullman or a comparable place. Park Hotel is a decent, charming budget hotel with budget furnishings, etc.

We have recieved a incorrect invioce aftwr checking out ealier due to operational reasons. We have made contact via email and telephone for more than a week but noone is willing to help us.

Staff were friendly

I didn't like that my room fridge was not working and Congo is very hot.

Overall, I liked the hotel. It has character and it is centrally located in Lubumbashi dependant on your reason for being there.

I did not like the room security. The door could not be securely locked with even a dead bolt and there was no safe in the room for documents/valuables. The food menu was also expensive.

Clean quiet courtyard facing room. Live Congolese music nice, tho hard to sleep before they end about 10pm. Friendly helpful staff

No hot water, no shower curtain and weak water pressure.
