Geen airco Maar werd opgelost met ventilator dat was erg fijn!

De prettige ontvangst, zulke leuke studenten, fijn dat we lekkere Nespresso op de kamer hadden

We hadden kamer 15, bij binnenkomst bots je bijna tegen de WC op, verder was de verlichting in de badkamer erg slecht, ik kon eigenlijk mijn lenzen niet in doen vanwege het slechte licht

Historic castle with a mote

This hotel is on a college campus and my first greeting, as I walked to the reception area, was a drunk student staggering around the area with a constant case of the hiccups. They were hanging outside my window until after 2 in the morning making noise, hollering, talking loud and totally obnoxious. They have to walk past the hotel to get to their dorms, so if sleep is what you want, don’t stay here. When I complained I was offered a cheap pack of ear plugs. This is a school and they obviously have no control over the student body. You pay upwards of two hundred a night, which offsets the costs of the school, you’d think they’d treat their guests better. I had one student the following day use their pass key to walk into my room as I dried off after a shower. I suppose he was checking on cleaning or coming to clean as I saw supplies in the hallway after he left. He didn’t knock just used his key and came right in. Aren’t they taught to knock and announce themselves before they barge right in? I read the reviews and people raved about this hotel. I’m now convinced it is either the parents of the students or someone from the school because I couldn’t wait to get out of that hotel.

Great experinece. The castle is in the middle of the park, very quite but not far from the city centre (there is a direct bus 7 minutes walking that brings you to the city in 10 minutes) + the hotel also rents bikes for approx. 15 eur a day. Our room was very cool - the bathroom was about the size same as the main room (huge) and there were 2 baths so we could take a relaxing bath with my husband after a long day walking in the city. Everyone was very helpful. They offer free sparking water and tea/coffee.
