Hotel Wolfe Island

I loved the location, the food, and the events!

I think the room would be helped by a read window or split unit AC. It was hot, and the hose from the portable AC kept detaching from the back of the unit.

Convenient location

The budget room: The broken window let in a lot of bugs and left their corpses all over the room. The water stream from the bathroom sink was all over the place too. No hand soap was available.

Its was a beautiful little hotel and in the center of the main strip. We walked everywhere and enjoyed wolfe island a great deal!! Quiet, friendly and absolutely gorgeous!!

The room had just been renewed, look great and was very clean. The bed was the best we have slept in on our Canada roadtrip! The spot on the terras was great, we really enjoyed the drinks, fish tacos and fresh home made Nachos with fishdip. The sunset and music.

We didn’t speak to anyone in the Hotel. For that money, we would expect someone to help with the suitcase up the stairs. Sure hope they do help elderly people.

Nothing was open at the Wolfe. The entrance needs to be improved. Steps too high. Glad there is a railing to grab. I am curious about the description re double bed and large double bed. Our double was tight for 2 people not spooning. I did try and connect re email on the booking site to ask that question or at least change to a large double but got no answer. The staff we met when we arrived although very friendly did not seem to know anything about large doubles etc. the hotel was not full so we probably could have easily changed to another room with a little more space. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Curious why the cost was in euros. A little off putting when you convert.

Explained above. I liked the fact that the front door was open 24 hours but a little noisy. Next time would like to enjoy a beer in the “cafe” the signage outside was confusing. We have been on the island many times. And do like the refurbished rooms. The different colours outside are a great addition.

just the convenience of only hotel on the island...

needs to be upgraded, our double bed was lop sided, headboard on the floor. Time to remove carpet on the entry of stairs and maybe a tv in the rooms. Not user friendly when people arrive, it was very confusing when we arrived. We went to restaurant as stated in the info package emailed to us, waitress kept saying no its like an air bnb, you do not come into the restaurant...it was pouring rain and it took us forever to figure out how to get into our room, waitress was absolutely no help. Went to grab something to eat, she served us fries with no forks, no napkins etc. Its time to upgrade...
