The hotel location and grounds are fantastic, with great wildlife and access to beach.

We booked the Villa with Pool and the interior of the villa is dated. Bedrooms are cramped, and the whole space is in need of a deep clean. The kitchen had a poor stale food odor which of course filled the bedroom when the adjoining door was open. And you couldn't leave the external kitchen door open because the mosquito nets were torn. Externally it's great. But internally the Villa is about three stars based on the local market (we left and stayed elsewhere).

Although a modest size the layout of the hotel was vey pleasing with plenty of plants surrounding the central pool and rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing frogs and umbrellas! The meals were all very good. A short walk to the very modest beach but we didn't have the weather for that!

Private hotel and relaxed. Staff were friendly and the decor was nice

Limited breakfast options and all rooms offer limited privacy/ overlooked due to courtyard set up. No minibar/ fridge and no backup generator (for when the power goes out all night - this means you may have to stay in the dark with no wifi, no ability to charge devices or get water refills (as this needs electricity)). Also, the safe wasn’t bolted down so could easily be picked up and walked out.
