As we were at the hotel, situated on a small ski hill, at an unusual time of year, we can't make a general statement about normal operations. In May, it is very quiet and the noise level is low. It is difficult to rate the staff and service, as there was a striking difference between the evening and morning services. While we received excellent, attentive service in the evening and enjoyed excellent food and delicious beer, the morning service was completely inadequate. You can read more about this in the negative section. However, the booking process, check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The rooms were very nice and large; ours had a gigantic terrace. You could easily spend a few days there, but unfortunately we were only passing through.

As per the hotel policy, we had booked breakfast well in advance. The buffet was found with only two slices of toast and a very few dull toppings. There were some totally overcooked sausages in an obscure machine. There was nobody present who could have been asked about this. This total failure cannot be put down to overcrowding, hoarding or arriving late, as we were at the buffet early and there was only one other person in the room. Other tables were definitely not occupied. To top it all off, the coffee machine was faulty. Fortunately, we had our own decadent battery-operated coffee machine with us and were able to make our own coffee. As we left the breakfast area, we saw a kitchen employee standing at the back entrance, smoking and talking on the phone. He didn't look remotely interested in guests. Ultimately, we decided not to speak to him. Dear hotel management, breakfast is often the last impression of a hotel, a guest takes on the leave. This one leads to a full three-point devaluation. Too bad for the excellent evening team.
